José R. Villa is an educator, musician, and entrepreneur with extensive performance and teaching experience. José is a skilled professional with a successful career in music, business administration, education, youth development, and entrepreneurship. He is an advocate for innovative education. A graduate from Berklee College of music in Boston, MA, José has now returned to the community of Laredo and has created initiatives that support underserved youth through education and the arts. He has traveled through the US and Mexico with performances, masterclasses, and educational clinics. Through his artistic, creative, and innovative talents and knowledge, José trains, educates, and serves youth and young adults in the Laredo community. His mission is to transform and empower as many lives as possible through education, music, and the arts.
